Pamela Y. Lindsay
With a broad background in the field of human services and mental health care, Owner, Pamela Lindsay’s experience has
ranged from Direct Care to CEO. Her professional trek has landed her in previous positions that
have included serving as CEO of her own non-profit human services organization,
as Program Administrator for multiple Residential programs serving both adults and children, a Family Advocate for Children, a Community Support Professional and Consultant, Medical
Records Specialist, a Billing Administrator and Quality Assurance Director.
Her
professional education is extensive, inclusive of a degree in human services,
with a concentration in mental health, as well as a double major degree in Policy Studies and Psychology.
Since entering the field of mental health over 12yrs. ago, Pamela Lindsay has
been a driving force on behalf of consumer rights and a vocal advocate for
improved quality of care and service delivery in the mental health care field. This passion to improve the lives of individuals with developmental
and mental disabilities, coupled with her pursuit for quality driven service delivery by mental health programs, inspired Mrs. Lindsay to turn her education, experience
and knowledgeable expertise, into a business in which she would be able to
share her skills knowledge and ability with others. Along with a team of highly
professional staff, Lindsay Consulting Services delivers quality consulting services
and expertise to mental health care providers, in order that they may be able to achieve
their expectations and desired outcomes. By partnering with mental health agencies,
LCS takes pride in knowing that it is still able to improve the lives of the individuals
being served. Thus, fulfilling the vision and desire of Mrs. Lindsay, which is to implore more agencies to offer more professionally managed, quality driven mental health services for those
who need help the most.
Pamela Y. Lindsay, regarded by most as a social butterfly, loves singing in the choir and serving God through various ministry endeavors. She has been quoted as expressing "that one of her greatest joys in life, comes from being able to make a positive impact in the life of someone else". Although she resides in District Heights, MD, with husband, Minister Dr. Haile K. Lindsay, she commutes frequently to North Carolina to meet the needs of her providers who have entrusted her with their business. She is also the proud mother of 3 adult children, sons, Tory (Dakiya) and Tiras and 1 daughter Tierra, as well as 1 grandson, Micah.
